The Tidan River flows right past Kyrkekvarn, offering an exciting paddling route northward. As you glide along the river, you’ll pass historic power stations and mill dams, adding a touch of heritage to your journey. Follow the current towards Tidaholm, Tibro, and all the way to Mariestad, where the river meets Lake Vänern.

Enjoy well-maintained overnight spots along the way—completely free for canoe center guests. These sites include tent areas, fire/grill pits, dry toilets, and firewood (to be chopped). If your adventure extends beyond a single day, a pre-arranged pickup service with the canoe center is required.
